Food Hype: Eggslut

I’m not an egg eater but I had to know what the hype was about with this place. With 32.6K followers on Instagram and always popping up on my explore I just HAD to know! And I have to say it was not bad, the menu is very short but the line wraps around almost the entire restaurant. I got there at 3 p.m. and the line did not die out till they closed at 4 p.m. The employees were helpful in my food selection and let me say, it was not enough but very delicious, let’s take some time to appreciate this cheeseburger..

Eggslut is right in the front of the Grand Central Market based in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. Founded in 2011 by culinary artist, Alvin Cailan, it’s popularity has blown up all because of it’s unique love for eggs. After you’ve had your egg sandwich, the Grand Central Market is cool place to just walk around and shop for other foodies such as fruit and even candy. You can also pick up a draft beer or a glass of wine as you shop. There’s always new and exciting events happening at the market, if you catch it at the right time you can pick up on a art class or catch a bread festival.
